If you can't see the desktop and instead see a blue, black, or blank screen, see Troubleshoot blue screen errors or Troubleshoot black or blank screen errors. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver. Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and then select Uninstall. If these fail Uninstall the Driver, restart PC to reinstall. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
